THANKS for the HELP!

UPDATE: YIPEE! As it turned out, it was quick and easy to get the fundraiser items taken care of! This company was well organized and we are DONE! So we will NOT be meeting before the PTO meeting tomorrow! Thanks for all the help!!!

EEK! I am so sorry this is going out so late! I meant to send this Friday and had some stuff to deal with this weekend and forgot to send it, so now we're really desperate! 

We need as many hands on deck as possible! Our fundraiser items are in and we need help organizing and going through them to prepare to hand them out to the kids! We'll Have a work party at the school TOMORROW, Monday December 8 at 3pm as well as Tuesday Dec 9 from 3 -6pm (Right before the PTO meeting). If there is any way for you to be there for even a little while to help, please, PLEASE come over and help!!! Thank you!!!

Spirit Day-Still one more day to show your school spirit!

Oh my! It has been a busy week so I did not get this posted, but there is still one more day to show some school spirit!!! Tomorrow is "I'd rather be a _________ than a bully." (Wear a costume or choose a wardrobe of a career and dress accordingly, NO MASKS). Wow-what a great excuse to wear the Halloween costumes on Halloween! ;)

Phew! We did it! Teacher Dinner was a great success!

Each year during Parent Teacher Conferences, the PTO provides dinner for the teachers on the long day of conference week. Our fall conferences are coming right up on us and we are trying to set up a Potato bar for the teachers for Wednesday October 29th.

We're looking for volunteers to provide the food. A few people signed up at the PTO meeting already, but we need a lot more help to make this dinner happen.

Book Fair Coming up!!!

The book fair is coming to McDermoth. It will be in the library from October 27th to the 31st. The book fair is great because it generates money for books to put in our school library. At least 40% of what we sell comes back to us. I would love some help setting up the book fair, helping to run it(sitting in the library when students and parents come in to buy books), and taking the book fair down. My plan is to set up the book fair after school on October 24th. It will be an early day so around noon. The book fair hours will be Monday Oct 27th 9am-5pm, Tuesday 9-12, Wednesday 9-7:30, Thursday 9-5, and Friday 9-12. The times may adjust a little depending on how many people sign up to help. We will take down the book fair Friday after school.
